Tufts Named a Top College Value

“Kiplinger’s Personal Finance” ranks the university highly among traditional four-year schools

Tufts has been named one of the 100 best college values for 2015 by Kiplinger’s Personal Finance magazine, which judges institutions on a variety of factors, including competitiveness, graduation rates, academic support, cost and financial aid.

Tufts ranks 21st among private universities and 16th on the list of best college values in New England. Tufts is 54th out of the 1,200 U.S. institutions that Kiplinger rates based on student-faculty ratio, graduation rate, tuition and fees, financial aid and students’ average debt at graduation, among other factors. The rankings focus on traditional four-year schools with broad-based curricula and student housing.

The rankings will appear in the February 2015 issue of Kiplinger’s Personal Finance, on newsstands in January and now available online at http://kiplinger.com/links/college.
