A Year in Books

Arts and Sciences authors cover a wide range of scholarship and interests in the annual publications party

The soaring range of scholarship—and interests—among the faculty of the School of Arts and Sciences was on display at the Dean’s Annual Book Party this spring.

Topics ranged from spirituality among youth and the lives of immigrants in the South to a new approach to understanding the cognition of humor and why situations matter in everyday psychology.

The book party honored A&S faculty authors who have been published recently. This year’s event also featured newly published musical recordings as well as newly published journal articles.
