Our photographers chronicle the first day of college for two undergraduate students
The first-year class includes a talented group of undergraduate students from the Bridge to Liberal Arts Success at Tufts (BLAST) and Bridge to Engineering Success at Tufts (BEST) programs, both designed to support students who may be the first in their family to go to college or who attended under-resourced high schools. We spent the day with two of these students, Anna Rodriguez from Boston’s Roxbury neighborhood, and Mateo Galeano from Queens, New York, as they prepared for their big day on campus.
