Virtual ceremony on Memorial Steps is available for viewing by all
Veterans Day looks different than usual this year at Tufts—just like everything else.
A virtual event, it begins with the traditional flag ceremony on the Memorial Steps with Alan Solomont, A70, A08P, former U.S Ambassador to Spain and Andorra and the Pierre and Pamela Omidyar Dean of the Jonathan M. Tisch College of Civic Life at Tufts University, as this year’s flag recipient. Solomont and President Anthony P. Monaco will both speak.
James Stavridis, F83, F84, a retired four-star U.S. naval officer, former Supreme Allied Commander of the NATO Alliance and former Fletcher School dean, delivers the keynote address.
