This member of the Class of 2022 reflects on his experience as an international student, as a member of the Philippine Student Union, and as a communications intern at the Office of Sustainability
Having come from a first home in Manila, Philippines, at a distance of more than 8,000 miles from the Hill, Alfonso Syquia, A22, has been successful in making a second home for himself here at Tufts. As reflected in this video, he has made Tufts a home in a variety of ways, from sharing the love of food with friends in the Philippine Student Union to finding ways to make sustainability more accessible as a communications intern at the Office of Sustainability.
