New Directions at the Friedman School

Changes in leadership and a new initiative promise to usher in an exciting era for the school.

We are excited to announce the appointment of Christina Economos as the new Dean of the Friedman School, effective July 1, 2023. Dariush Mozaffarian will be taking on a new leadership role to build a cross-school Food is Medicine initiative at Tufts.
