Earlier this year, researchers in Australia published a systematic review of prevention interventions that use community-based system dynamics.
Friedman Research Lauded as "Excellent" in Systematic Review
The review praises two studies from researchers based at the Friedman School:
- Implementing group model building with the Shape Up Under 5 community committee working to prevent early childhood obesity in Somerville, Massachusetts
- Implementing and Evaluating a Stakeholder-Driven Community Diffusion-Informed Early Childhood Intervention to Prevent Obesity, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, 2018-2020
These two publications were lauded as “excellent” and “very valuable” contributions to this area of research.
Friedman School Assistant Professor Larissa Calancie is the first author of both of the publications that were highlighted by the systematic review.
