Angela Nelson

Deputy Editorial Director

Angela Nelson is deputy editorial director for the health/science schools at Tufts University. She writes most often about the School of Medicine and Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to Tufts, she spent more than a decade at The Boston Globe as the breaking news and homepage editor and was part of the team that won a Pulitzer Prize in 2014 for coverage of the Boston Marathon bombing. She also spent a few years as a writer for WebMD and a few more years in content marketing helping corporations build their brands through storytelling. She’s always hungry and would like to know if you brought snacks. Her two kids probably have the same question.
