Angela Nelson is deputy editorial director for the health/science schools at Tufts University. She writes most often about the School of Medicine and Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to Tufts, she spent more than a decade at The Boston Globe as the breaking news and homepage editor and was part of the team that won a Pulitzer Prize in 2014 for coverage of the Boston Marathon bombing. She also spent a few years as a writer for WebMD and a few more years in content marketing helping corporations build their brands through storytelling.
