Mike Silver brings over 20 years of experience in science communications to help Tufts faculty and students tell their stories of research and innovation to the world. Mike has helped bring news coverage for Tufts on topics such as firefly conservation, biological robots, cellular agriculture, sustainable manufacturing, iron and steel, microchips, climate change, and more. Mike earned a Ph.D. in biochemistry and molecular biology from Harvard University and a B.A. from Columbia University. Previous work includes serving as industry liaison at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Ogilvy Public Relations.
